He didn't know where he was or what had happened, but he definitely wasn't dead, death didn't hurt this much. The only thing on his mind was the dreams he had while he was out of it, all of them weird and vivid, except one. The one that had remained in his mind more than most, with the beautiful dragoness staring down at him, he tried desperately to clutch onto that image, to see him through the pain he knew he would experience. Assuming that they had it with them, the dragon looked to have been flying for a while.
